Christmas in July is BACK!

Join our month-long community building fun in Chattanooga! Part color wars, part making new friends, part working out, and mostly fun, you’ll earn points for your team by participating in Run Chattanooga events all month long!

First, pick a team – Red or Green
You’ll be earning points toward your team total all month long.

Next, show for events! At each event, there will be a sign-in sheet or some other way to count that you were there.

There are some ways to earn points all month long that don’t require signing up! And there are extra point opportunities for sharing on social media when you TAG Run Chattanooga and use #runchattanooga.

Events with specific dates and times are listed below. You will receive updates via email for the events you sign up for. You can also visit the Run Chattanooga Facebook page events listing and click GOING to get updates there.

Month-long points opportunities include:
SHOW UP to Run Chattanooga group runs and workouts. Every time you come to a group run or workout, you earn two points for your team. Attending Fleet Feet group runs earns you one point.

Wear a Run Chattanooga shirt to a group run, workout, or event. Raccoon Mountain and Run Tennessee shirts count too. Take a picture and share either on the Run Chattanooga Facebook wall (1 point), or tag @runchattanooga in a post with the picture on Twitter (1 point) or Instagram (1 point). You earn TWO points for wearing shirts to NON-Run Chattanooga running/fitness events. This includes wearing shirts to the gym, to other races, etc. You must take a picture and share it via social media to count!

Donate blood at any Blood Assurance location or bloodmobile. Take a photo to prove that you did and post on social media. Make sure to also tag @bloodassurance in Twitter or Instagram posts. If you donate plasma or platelets, this gives you more opportunities to earn points. Donations MUST be at a Blood Assurance location, not a plasma collection center.

Run or walk 100 miles in the month of July. Must be dedicated mileage for working out, not fitbit steps. You will be asked to provide proof for your mileage.

Visit Fleet Feet Sports at 2 Northshore. Sign in at the counter. Yes, just walking in the store earns you points! If you make a purchase of ANY amount, you earn a second point. Purchases of shoes earn an additional 2 points.

Participate in Fleet Feet Sports Group Runs. Sign in on their clipboard to prove you were there!

Burn Your Half Off 7/9 and 7/10 (Sign Up)
One point per mile run (up to 13 points per day), 3 points per hour of volunteering
Bring old shoes to Burn Your Half Off to be donated to the Community Kitchen
One point per pair of shoes. They don’t have to be running shoes!
Hixson Elementary Teacher Help 7/13 (Sign Up)
One point per hour of volunteering
YMCA Summer Food Program (Sign Up)
Date/time TBA for group day, but any day of helping counts
One point per hour of volunteering

3 points for attending, 1 point per item donated to the Room in the Inn
